U.S. Constellation American Frigate 1796. 1:85 scale. The U.S. Constellation started her active life in 1798 and was withdrawn in 1955. Her mission included seizing numerous ships, defending the Hawaiian Island against annexation by the British in 1843 and transporting food to Ireland during the Great Famine 1845 - 1849. It was also the first U.S. warship to visit China in 1842, and it became a training vessel in 1871. Today, it brigs back glorious memories to tens of thousands of tourists who visit her each year in Baltimore. Height-28", Length-40.75", Width- 6.125", Weight 14 lbs., unfinished.
